- And the third: what the sleeper sees of images and situations that dominate his mind while awake, such as a wish he made, as well as what results from filling the stomach with food; The Prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: “There are three dreams, including horrors from Satan, so that the son of Adam will grieve with them, and among them is what a man wanders about in his wakefulness, and he sees it in his sleep, and among them is part of the forty-six parts of prophecy)).
- It was narrated by Ibn Majah, and it is most likely that visions are in goodness, and dreams are in other things. For the words of the Prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – as according to al-Bukhari: ((The true dream is from Allah, and the dream is from Satan)).
