The Day of Judgement in Islam has signs that precede its occurrence, and are called signs of the day of Hour, and they are divided into minor signs, middle signs, and Major signs.

There are many minor signs of the Hour that have occurred and ended, and they are as follows:

• The mission of the prophet Muhammed “May Allah Bless Him and Grant him peace” is one of the minor signs of the day of Hour, because Allah sealed the prophets with him, and with his message.
• The splitting of the moon: It was mentioned in Quran that the incident of splitting of the moon that occurred during the time of the Prophet Muhammad is evidence of the Day of Judgement in Islam.
• The Conquest of Jerusalem. Auf bin Malik Al-Ashja’i – may Allah be pleased with him – said: (I came to the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, during the campaign of Tabuk, and he was in a dome of Tanned leather. Bayt al-Maqdis was conquered during the era of al-Faruq Umar ibn al-Khattab – may Allah be pleased with him – when he went there and built a mosque and reconciled with the people of the region.
• The appearance of sedition. What is meant by sedition here is the bad things that happen to people, and they hate going through such things, such as disbelief, killing, disobedience, and similar matters, and the Prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – warned his nation of the great sedition that will appear among them, and directed them to adhere to the Muslim community and believe in Allah.
• The spread of security is when security prevails in Islamic countries, so a Muslim moves and travels from one place to another without fearing anything for himself, his family, his money, his mind or his religion.

The Middle Signs of the Day of Judgement in Islam are as follow:

• Fighting the Jews, so the stone will stand and say, O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.
• The Euphrates River recedes from a mountain of gold, and people fight over it, and out of every hundred men, ninety-nine is killed, and one remains.
• The return of the Arabian Peninsula as green meadows, as it was in the past ages.
• People gathered in the Levant from all sides, and the land of the Levant is the land of gathering.
• People are not happy with any booty.
• The destroyed city of Jerusalem was empty of residents and visitors.

The Major Signs of the Day of Judgement in Islam are as follow:

• The appearance of the Mahdi who will emerge at the end of time, and who will take charge of this nation and renew its religion. He is a man who rules by Islam and fills the earth with justice after it was filled with oppression and injustice.
• The emergence of the Antichrist.
• One of the great signs of the Day of Judgement in Islam is the descent of Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him, at the end of time from heaven, and the texts of the holy Book and the Sunnah indicate that he will descend before the Hour begins, and he will kill the Antichrist, break the cross, judge with justice, and judge according to the law of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
• One of the great signs of the Day of Judgement in Islam that the Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, talked about is the emergence of Yagog and Magog.
