Murouj Academy is run by Murouj LLC, a company registered in the United States, at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("Murouj Academy", "we", "us"). By booking a free trial or a package, you agree to these terms. If you book for a child, you agree to them on the child's behalf as their parent or guardian. ## 1. Our classes - Murouj Academy teaches the Quran, Tajweed, Quran memorization, Arabic and Islamic studies online. - Every class is a live, one-to-one class with a teacher. We don't run group classes. - Each student follows a personalised plan, agreed with their teacher. - Lessons last 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and packages run from two to five classes a week, as shown on our [packages page](https://muroujacademy.com/pricing/). ## 2. Choosing your teacher - You choose your teacher, and you can ask to switch to another teacher at any time. - Women and girls are taught by female teachers, and adult men by male teachers. For children, the parent or guardian chooses the teacher. - If a teacher becomes unavailable, you can choose another teacher. ## 3. The free trial class Your first class is a free one-to-one trial with the teacher you choose. It lets the teacher check the student's level and suggest a plan, and lets you decide whether to continue. There is no obligation to buy a package after the trial. ## 4. Packages and payment - Prices are shared on request for the package you choose. We don't publish prices on the website. - Payment is made using one of the methods listed on our packages page: Wise, PayPal or bank transfer. - Any fees charged by your bank or payment service are your responsibility. ## 5. Scheduling, cancellations and missed classes - Class times are agreed between you and your teacher, in your own time zone. - Twice a year, clocks change on different dates in your country and in our teachers' time zone. Your teacher will agree with you which clock your class follows during those weeks. - If you need to cancel or move a class, tell your teacher or the academy as early as you can. We will publish the detailed cancellation and make-up rules here once they are confirmed. Until then, ask us on WhatsApp before you book if this matters to you. ## 6. Children - A parent or guardian must book and manage classes for anyone under 18. - Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the internet during and around classes. - Please read our [safeguarding page](https://muroujacademy.com/safeguarding/) for how we keep classes safe. ## 7. Conduct We ask everyone in a class to be respectful and courteous. Students and families agree not to: - share class links with anyone else; - record classes without our and the teacher's permission; - behave abusively towards a teacher, or a teacher towards a student. We may pause or end classes if someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules. If you have a concern about a teacher, contact us straight away. ## 8. Teaching materials The PDFs, slides, videos and other materials we share are for the student's personal learning. Please don't republish or sell them. ## 9. Our responsibility We work hard to give every student a good, qualified teacher and a reliable class. Progress depends on regular attendance and practice, so we can't promise a particular result, such as finishing memorization by a set date. Classes depend on internet connections that we don't control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live. ## 10. Your information We handle personal information as described in our [privacy policy](https://muroujacademy.com/privacy/). ## 11. Changes to these terms We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell current families directly. ## 12.
