Tajweed is a spoken skill, so the teacher hears and corrects every letter live. **Can I learn Tajweed if I cannot read Arabic yet?** You need to be able to read the Arabic letters. If you cannot yet, you start with the Noorani Qaida, and your teacher moves you on to Tajweed once you can read. **Can adults who already read the Quran learn Tajweed?** Yes. Many adults read the Quran but are unsure of their mistakes.
