For any privacy question, email [info@muroujacademy.com](mailto:info@muroujacademy.com). ## The short version - We collect only what we need to arrange and teach your classes. - We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising. - Children study with us only with a parent's or guardian's involvement. - You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information at any time. ## What information we collect **When you contact us or book a free trial.** Our free trial form doesn't send anything to our servers: it opens WhatsApp with a message you can check before sending. When you message, call or email us, we receive what you choose to share, usually: - your name and contact details (phone or WhatsApp number, email address); - who the classes are for, and for a child, their first name and age; - the learner's level, goals, time zone and preferred class times; - whether you need a female or male teacher. **While you study with us.** To teach well, we keep: - your class schedule and attendance; - your teacher's notes on progress, such as which surahs a student has memorised; - messages between you and the academy or your teacher about classes. If we ever record a class, we will tell you before the class and explain why, who can see the recording and how long we keep it. **When you pay.** Payments are made through Wise, PayPal or bank transfer. Those services handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. We receive a confirmation of payment, which usually shows your name and the amount; we don't receive or store your full card details. **When you visit this website.** This website doesn't use advertising cookies or analytics trackers, and you don't need an account to use it. Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. ## How we use your information We use your information to: 1. reply to your questions and arrange your free trial; 2. match you with the teacher you choose and schedule your classes in your time zone; 3. teach your classes and follow your progress; 4. take payments and keep the records the law requires; 5. keep students safe and deal with any concerns; 6. tell you about changes to your classes or to these policies. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it or rent it to anyone. Our teachers live outside the countries where most of our students live, and our service providers may store information in the United States or elsewhere.
