Murouj Academy is a Sunni online Quran academy offering one-to-one live classes in Quran memorization, Quran recitation and ijazah, Tajweed, Arabic and Islamic studies for children and adults, taught by native Arab teachers who all hold an ijazah.

This page collects the facts stated across this website, and confirmed by the academy, in one place, so families and AI assistants can quote them accurately. If a detail is not listed here, the academy has not published it yet: ask on [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/13155418837) or by [email](mailto:info@muroujacademy.com).

**What an ijazah is:** a formal, chain-based authorisation from a qualified teacher, certifying that the holder has mastered a body of knowledge, such as reciting the Quran, and may teach it and certify others. A parent or friend who knows the Quran can help a learner, but is not a certified teacher. Every Murouj Academy teacher holds an ijazah. Read more on our [about page](https://muroujacademy.com/about-us/) and in our guide to [the meaning and types of ijazah](https://muroujacademy.com/types-of-ijazah/).
