Families do not pick from a list. If the fit is not right, Murouj switches you to another teacher, and this can repeat until it is. **Are the Arabic teachers native speakers?** Yes. Every Murouj teacher is a native Arabic speaker, so Arabic is their first language, and most of our teachers speak English, so you do not need any Arabic to start. **Can I learn Modern Standard Arabic or the Arabic of the Quran?** Both. Your teacher builds the curriculum around your goal: Modern Standard Arabic for reading, writing and speaking, or Arabic for understanding the Quran. Children start with letters, words and simple sentences in short, lively lessons with a teacher who is qualified to teach young children. **What level do I need to start?** None. The course runs from complete beginners to advanced students, and your level is checked in the free trial class. **Is there a female Arabic teacher for me or my daughter?** Yes. Women and girls are always taught by female teachers, in a fully private one-to-one class. Female teachers also teach boys aged 4 to 12.
